One of my favorite love stories.

I'm one of THOSE people.

When I first saw these, I thought they were kind of silly.

Until I started rocking this kind of purse

A huge tote with close to no pocket storage.

So, I LOVE my Kangaroo Keeper...

A must have for anyone that likes the look of a tote purse, but wants the storage of a pocket-filled mini purse.  It also helps the tote stand up better while I'm digging through it.  AND, I'm really impressed with the quality of it!  I think it'll last me forever.

Life's all about being ecstatic about the little things, right?

Howie and I used to love to go hiking while we were dating.  I wish we still went.  We bought treking poles a couple years ago and still have not used them.

Maybe this will be their year.

Genelle's 30th Birthday!

This last Friday marked the 30th birthday for my BFF.

She wanted to celebrate by taking her family to Texas Roadhouse for lunch on Saturday.

Her husband, Steve, and son, Jake.

Here's her Mom, Step-Dad Jim, and her little Claire.

She got the new Train CD from her in-laws.

Time to open my present!

I got her a sweet purple bag with a huge flower on it.

Purple is her favorite color.

Also a cute little hanger thing that holds her keys on the outside of the purse.

And now for the best part of the day...

 Texas Roadhouse wanted to have everyone yell Happy Birthday to her and give her an ice cream sundae.  But, she had to sit on a horse saddle to do it.  The look on her face says it all!  It was hilarious!  I'm still surprised she did it.

Her son, Jake, was happy to help her finish the sundae.
